The Regional Representation for the Americas pays particular attention to the specific needs of the National Tourism Administrations, local authorities and tourism enterprises in the region, conducting seminars and conferences on topics of interest to the tourism industry, including courses on tourism human resource development.

المرأة اللاتينية تؤدي دور البطولة في دراسة جديدة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة
قدمت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة ووزارة السياحة في باراغواي تقريرًا ابتكاريا عن دور المرأة في قطاع السياحة. وتم عرض الدراسة كمقدمة للمؤتمر الإقليمي الأول حول تمكين المرأة في مجال السياحة في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، الذي سيعقد في أسونسيون، باراغواي، يومي 21 و22 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر.
