السياحة تجمع الناس.

وبمناسبة يومنا العالمي للسياحة هذا، دعونا نتأمل في العلاقة العميقة القائمة بين السياحة والسلام.

فالسياحة المستدامة يمكن أن تُحدث تحولاً في المجتمعات المحلية - حيث تخلق فرص العمل وتعزز الاندماج وتقوي الاقتصادات المحلية.

ومن خلال تثمين التراث الثقافي والطبيعي والحفاظ عليه، يمكن أن تساعد السياحة في الحد من التوترات وتشجع التعايش السلمي.

ويمكن للسياحة أيضا أن تعزز الترابط الاقتصادي بين الجيران من خلال تشجيع التعاون والتنمية في بيئة يسودها السلام.

وفي الوقت نفسه، توسِّع السياحة آفاق الناس. فما من مسافر منا إلا ويمكن أن يكون سفيراً يتفاعل باحترام مع السكان المحليين، يعلي من قدر تنوعنا وإنسانيتنا المشتركة والقيم التي توحدنا جميعاً.
