SEMINAR ON SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENTS: A STRATEGY TOWARDS COMPETITIVENESS

Quito, Ecuador - 28 June 2023

The Seminar will be held in the framework of the 68th meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for the Americas on 28 June 2023.

The Investment Seminar will establish a space to formulate strategic frameworks and promote tourism investments, and sustainable investment mechanisms as fundamental components for the economic recovery after the pandemic. The discussions will cover topics related to investment trends, recommendations to strengthen a business climate and incentives, promote investment opportunities, boost economic recovery and job creation in the tourism sector and its value chain, generating quality information from a sustainability and resilience perspective.
