UNWTO has worked with tourism leaders from across Mexico to accelerate the sector’s shift to greater sustainability.
UNWTO and India’s G20 Presidency, have joined hands to launch a new tool to advance the contribution of tourism policies and initiatives towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Following the first landmark conference on accessible tourism in Europe, hosted by San Marino in 2014, we will gather again in this unique international platform for governments, destinations, and the private sector to demonstrate the importance of making tourism accessible for all, including persons with disabilities and specific access requirements.
UNWTO will work with the Municipality of Thassos in Greece to help the island rebuild its tourism sector in an inclusive way.
Innovation, tourism for rural development and high-level cooperation were the focus of this week’s official visit of the UNWTO Secretary-General to Israel.
